Sara graduated from Thomas University with a bachelors in business management and marketing and has worked at Thomas County Federal for 14 years. She has worked in various roles in the loan department including being a mortgage lender and commercial lender.
Sara loves being active in the community and The Chamber of Commerce. She has 2 beautiful daughters who both love ballet and being silly. Her husband is self employed and a small business owner. He owns Precision Freight Services and works in logistics.
Lynn brings twelve years of industry experience in private and public accounting, as well as thirteen years of teaching experience to Small Business Development Center (SBDC) clients in the Central Southern region. Prior to joining the Georgia SBDC, Lynn was the Department Chair of Business Education and the Accounting Program Coordinator for Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. In 2006, Lynn was the recipient of the Rick Perkins Instructor of the Year for WGTC and the Southwest District of Georgia. Her area of expertise includes instruction in financial and managerial accounting, financial statement preparation and analysis, payroll processing and payroll tax returns, along with QuickBooks Pro. Her past experience also includes cost accounting for international tolling operations at Griffin, L.L.C.
Sherri is a partner in the tax services division of Guy, Johnson & Rayburn, P.C. She has over 15 years of public accounting experience, and concentrates her practice in tax planning and tax compliance for individuals, estates and businesses, as well as business management and consulting. She has a specialty expertise in agriculture, and her focus is on client service. Prior to working in public accounting, she spent nine years working in industry accounting, so she has a unique insight into her clients' daily business operations.
Sherri is the Chairperson of the Accounting Advisory Committee of Southern Regional Technical College, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
She is married to Brian Rayburn and they attend First Baptist Church.
Landis is a magna cum laude graduate of Valdosta State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Grades Education concentrating in mathematics and science. After graduation, Landis decided to detour from the educational system and continued working in the accounting field. She worked her way through college at New Hire Solutions in the accounting department before moving to Cleaver-Brooks where she handled all accounts payable for two of their locations.
In May 2012, Landis returned to New Hire Solutions as the Comptroller. As president of New Hire Solutions for the past 5 years, Landis has managed a minimum of 30 employees that work directly for New Hire Solutions and over 1000 that work in the field on assignments. She’s dealt with all aspects of HRincluding everything from benefits, FMLA, wage and hour regulations, payroll requirements, and moreShe is also now pursuing a second Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Accounting through Western Governor’s University.
Angie Avard Turner is an attorney who works with creatives to protect their business and their creative works. She specializes in Copyright and Trademark Law.
