I'm the artist and illustrator behind Pen & Paint. I'm a busy mama of two silly little boys and a sweet baby girl. I am southern girl with a loud laugh, a sensitive heart and a little bit of sarcasm on the side. I like to draw and paint a lot.
I developed a love for art at a young age. My childhood was filled with drawing, coloring, and creative projects. In a college art history class my love for art came alive. I began painting for friends and family, but it wasn't until I left the work place to stay at home with my first child that I discovered the opportunity to sell her art in the handmade community of Etsy.
In 2009, I began selling hand painted nursery/children's artwork and custom designs. It evolved into smaller paintings and home decor, and in February 2012 I started drawing. I knew it was time for a change and Pen & Paint came together a few months later offering inspiring art prints, colorful stationery, along with fun hand-painted canvases.
Pen & Paint licenses artwork through Jewel Branding and is privileged to do work for Pictura USA, Workman Publishing, Studio-M, and Get Uncommon.
